Helia Abdollahi (also known as Heliabali) is a multidisciplinary artist working in dance, acting, and visual design. Born in Tehran, Iran, in 1995, she moved to Germany in 2022 to study performing arts. She earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design in 2018, and her journey into dance began through her figure sketches, which she translated into movement.
Over the years, she has taken part in various projects, including theater, short films, editorial fashion, and modeling advertisements. From 2023 to 2024, she studied dance at Mind and Dance School in Nuremberg and is now pursuing physical theater at Folkwang University.
She has performed as a dancer for Eva Borrmann in About Damn Time and appeared in Parsifal and Cenerentola at Staatstheater Nürnberg.
Helia is passionate about creating characters and choreographing movement compositions inspired by mythical stories.
